Release Notes 7/19/2024 - 8/1/2024
We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.
New Features
Individual Profile: Cost of Care
- Capturing the Individual's Cost of Care, or Contribution to Care is now available in the Individual's Profile, Administrative tab. The Cost of Care tab enables customers to record the monthly amount that an Individual contributes to their cost of services provided. While not a required field, this will be necessary for specific billing requirements for those customers desiring to use the 837i billing platform.
- Two permissions are associated with this feature, one for Access to the tab and a second for History access. These are located in Permissions-Individual.
- As this is a new feature the defaults for both are set to No Access.
- System Admins should review their Role's permissions and make any required adjustments accordingly.
Manage MCOs (Managed Care Organizations)
- Capturing a Payer's Type of Bill and ID
- Manage MCO (Managed Care Organization\) is a new tile in Admin Tools that enabling customers to configure their own needed MCOs which are available for selection in the Individual's Insurance tab.
- In Manage MCO, customers will find the ability to manage their own custom list, Add, Edit and Save entries as well as Delete MCOs that are no longer needed.
- Edit = changes the name of the MCO for all past and future uses. Think of this as a label change.
- Delete = Removes the MCO for future use. Any previous use will still display the MCO and the deleted term will no longer be available in the drop down moving forward.
- Two additional fields are now available to capture the MCO's Type of Bill and the Payer ID.
- Neither field is required for general use however they will be required for use with the 837i billing platform.
- Customers that have already utilized and built a list of MCOs directly in the Individual's Insurance tab will find these entries as currently saved MCOs in the Manage MCOs tile.
Behavioral Support Plan

The BSP dashboard has received a new user experience where the system will capture and display the Staff's name and date/time stamp for each action on the display. This will provide additional information as to who and when entries were made regarding the Implementation Date, BSP Target Date, and SC Approval Date.
Appointment Cancel and Rescheduling Reasons
- Located in Admin Tools->iCM-Settings->Appointment Settings, customers will now find all the default reasons for both of these actions in iCM.
- Edit = changes the name of the Reason for all past and future uses. Think of this as a label change.
- Delete = Removes the Reason for future use. Any previous use will still display the Reason and the deleted term will no longer be available in the drop down moving forward.
- Reasons from these lists appear in the Individual's Appointment tab when staff attempt to Cancel or Reschedule an appointment.
Enhancements
Services
- The Frequency Range when creating a schedule for a Service has been enhanced to allow for dates apart of more than 99 days. This is a great enhancement that will now allow a Service schedule to capture a need for services on a semi-annual or any service more than 100 days apart.
Variable POC Response Times
- Plan of Correction response times can be fully configured based on original submission or rejection events.
- This enhanced setting is found in Admin Tools-iCM-Settings->POC Settings and allows the user to indicate a different number of response days required based on number of rejections.
- Customers with a desire to override any defined response times and adjust their own POC response time directly in each POC.
Request for e-Signature alert
- In this release, when staff expand the alert, the will see additional information covering:
- Training name with ID & Status (if applicable)
- Individual name (if applicable),
- Training Date and Time
- Requestor of the signature

Permissions: Transportation Log
- Enhanced permissions were enacted for the Transportation Log. This is the module in which staff document transportation using their own personal vehicles.
- In this enhancement, customers now find the ability to enable Roles to have access and approval for their Own logs, Direct Report logs and/or All Staff logs.
- By default, Roles that had permission to View, Edit, Delete will only have access to complete these steps regarding their Own logs.
- By default, Roles that had permission to Approve will only have access to Approve their own logs.
- System Admins should review their Role's permissions and make any required adjustments accordingly.
Permissions
- Located in Permissions->Individual, Appointment Comments is now governed by No Access, View, Add, Edit and Delete.
- The default has been set to Add.

Uploaded Document Display
- In this update, we have improved the display of uploaded documents so the document's full title appears making document identification easier to see and use.
Mobile App
- iCM often updates the Mobile App. Sometimes as much as twice a week. Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed. Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating. If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
