Release Notes 3/28/2025 - 4/10/2025
We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.
New Features
DNR/DNI Changes According to New Structure in Profile
- The system now reflects the updated DNI/DNR structure from the Resident Profile.
- Administrators can now define, customize, and manage Advance Care Planning (ACP) Documents such as DNI, DNR, OLST, and Advance Directives, offering improved flexibility and clarity in individual documentation.
- To access and configure this new feature begin in Admin Tools/iCM Settings/Individual Profile Settings.
Enhancements
Custom Forms
- Custom Form Signature Component
- In this release, a signature component has been added to Form Builders, enabling forms to include staff signatures.
- The system now provides the ability to pull digital signatures of the staff or allow them to hand-draw their signature directly within the form. This update brings added flexibility and compliance support across all custom forms.
- Ability to add image from Special Components
- This improvement allows you to upload and display images in your custom forms. It is especially helpful for forms requiring visual references, such as body charts, mouth assessments, or scales for measurements.
eMAR
- Record G-J tube Residuals Reading in eMAR
-
Staff can now select G-J tube as a reading type and record values in cc or ml.
-
Recorded values are displayed in the eMAR calendar and MAR reports for better monitoring.
-
Staff Management
- Implement Permissions for Staff 'On Leave' and 'Back to Work' in Staff Management
- Two new independent permissions have been added to the Staff Management module to provide administrators with better control over who can manage staff leave statuses
- Key Updates
- "On Leave" Permission:
- Allows authorized users to place staff members On Leave.
- "Back to Work" Permission:
- Allows authorized users to mark staff members as Back to Work.
- These permissions are independent of existing Staff Management actions such as Reset Password, Edit Staff Termination, or Suspension.
Mobile App
- iCM often updates the Mobile App. Sometimes as much as twice a week. Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed. Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating. If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
