Release Notes 2/28/2025 - 3/13/2025

We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.

New Features

eMAR

Drug Bank

  • This update introduces a dropdown with a listing of the drug bank medications for quick selection when adding or editing medications.  
    • Simply enter the first 3 letters of the medication and available options will display. 
    • Entering additional characters can help drill down on the specific medication/dosage.

Respiratory Rate, INR, and Ketone Readings in eMAR

  • This release introduces an enhancement to the eMAR, allowing healthcare providers to document Respiratory Rate, INR, and Ketone readings with a medication's administration. 
    • When selected as part of the required medication administration, the system now displays these fields for data entry. 
    • If a reading parameters were configured in the Individual's profile, the low and high values will be shown and If a recorded reading falls outside the normal range, an automated alert is generated within the eMAR to ensure timely intervention. 

Training Management

  • When marking an employee as Trained, Trainers can now add a “From and To” time range.  This feature can allow organizations to record and tabulate training hours for each of their employees over a timeframe.    
    • This includes the potential to record time range fields on both bulk and individual mark-trained popups. 
    • Additionally, if staff used the Class Check-in and Check-out feature, the system will automatically populate the training duration from those entries
    • Furthermore, the Training Hours Report is available in the Reports tab.

Enhancements

Assessments
  • The Wound Assessment feature has been successfully moved from the MVC application to the Web App, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining data integrity. 
  • Users can now also electronically sign Wound Assessments within the eChart.

Transportation Log
  • The Fleet Management, Driver tab now displays the Staff's Job Title and the Staff's Personal Vehicle Inspected Date fields, ensuring more detailed and accurate driver records. 
    • These fields are populated from the data which is entered in the Staff Profile and the Staff Profile: Driver Tab.
    • The new fields are also included in export functionality for improved reporting.
Staff Profile
  • iCM now provides an additional Staff ID field and well as the ability to customize these fields.
    • In iCM-Settings, Label Management, Staff Profile Label Setting, both the External System Employee ID 1 and new External System Employee ID 2 field, can be configured to customer specific terms for easier recognition for your organization and staff. 
    • These terms are reflected across all Staff Profile screens as well as the Staff Listing in Reports.


Clinical Contact Note

  • The CCN Template feature now supports a 1,000-character limit for Section Titles to allow more detailed descriptions.
  • The printed format of the CCN now includes tighter spacing in used comment boxes and excludes comment boxes that are not utilized.  

Housekeeping
  • The Important To Me / Important For Me section in the Individual Profile now supports up to 1000 characters per field, addressing customer feedback on text limitations.
  • Label Management in iCM-Settings now displays all the Titles and applicable fields under each Title in alphabetical order.
  • "Heating Pad," "Ice Pack," and "Mouth Guard" have been added to the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) list, making these items available for selection across relevant sections.
  • The service tabs in CareTracker now follow the same structure as Services (Diagnoses, Allergies, Assessments, etc.), improving consistency.  Additionally, charted services now display the correct category title, ensuring clarity in service documentation.

Mobile App
  • iCM often updates the Mobile App.  Sometimes as much as twice a week.  Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed.  Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating.  If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
