- Key Updates:
Attendance - 837p Platform
- A new toggle is now available for 837p Funding Streams. When toggled, the "Use the principal diagnosis code from the individua profile" field will inform the system to use the diagnosis in each Individual's Profile, Medical Info, Diagnosis & Allergies tab that has a Diagnosis Role of Principal. This diagnosis will be used in the generation of the 837p batch file. This feature provides greater flexibility to the customer that may not want or be able to use a default diagnosis code for all Individuals.
- Customers should continue to select a default diagnosis code in each Funding Stream. This default code will function when the Individual does not have a diagnosis identified as the Principal.
Enhancements
CareTracker
- In iCM-Settings->CareTracker, the service type dropdown has been updated to display only the specified service types, ensuring consistency and eliminating unnecessary or differently named entries.
- Each Service Type includes only those relevant fields, maintaining structured and standardized data entry. This update enhances clarity and prevents misclassification of services.
- System Admins should review and adjust accordingly remembering to Save before moving to a different Service Type.
BSP
- Customers now find the availability to configure a base BSP Printing format in iCM-Settings, Behavior Support Plan (BSP) Print Settings. This default setting allows fine tuning of how the BSP print settings will be displayed when staff are Generating a BSP from the BSP Module.
- Staff will still maintain the ability to modify the generation at the BSP module level.
- Additionally, all sections and subsections will be displayed on the print popup.
- Customers can now also configure the field of "SC Approval Date" that appears in the BSP dashboard and generated BSPs.
- This setting is found in iCM-Settings, Label Management.
Progress Notes
- Progress Note Types can now be created and managed in iCM-Settings, Progress Note Settings.
- Customers must first toggle on the Progress Note Types dropdown.
- Then build your own configurable Types.
- These Types become a required field and allow for categorizing of the information recorded in the Progress Note Module.
- This feature is governed by a permission in Permission->Admin Tools->Progress Note Type Settings.
- A filter and column for Type are also now available in the Progress Note Report.
Monitors & Baselines
- The system now supports tracking of Respiratory Rate, International Normalized Ratio (INR), and Ketone under Monitors & Baselines, allowing users to configure normal ranges for each and receive alerts for abnormal values.
- Users can define normal ranges for each parameter, and the system will trigger alerts when values fall outside these thresholds.
- Additionally, these fields have been integrated into "Check Vitals" in CareTracker with normal ranges displayed next to each field. Readings for these vitals are now logged and displayed in Monthly Service Logs, Service Notes, Service Note Reports, and Monthly Reports, providing a comprehensive overview of patient health.
- Warning messages will also appear for abnormal data entered directly in the Vital Signs/BP in the eChart.
Training Management
- The system now allows Trainers with appropriate permissions to override compulsory training materials and mark a Trainee as "trained" when necessary.
- Before proceeding, a warning message will be displayed to confirm the action.
- This override applies to all types of training materials, including Documents, Links, and SCORM content, ensuring flexibility in training completion when required.
- This feature is found in Permissions: Staff Training: Allow bypassing the Material
Transportation Log
- The system now automatically calculates total mileage when users enter the start and end odometer readings of the vehicle in the Transportation Log.
- Additionally, users also have the flexibility to manually enter just a total mileage of the vehicle.
- Total mileage is also clearly displayed on the Transportation Log screen, on Reports and exports, ensuring seamless tracking and reporting.
- This enhancement eliminates the need for manual calculations, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Housekeeping
- All allergies and diagnoses throughout the system now follow a uniform "Title Case" format (e.g., "Acid Reflux") to eliminate inconsistencies in capitalization.
- Existing entries have been updated to comply with this format, and the system now enforces this standard across all UI sections and reports.
- Any future entries will automatically conform to this formatting to ensure consistency and readability in medical documentation.
STA/CIO Customers
- Facilities with access to view the Classification date in the staff profile will also find this field displayed inthe Staff Listing report.
Mobile App
- iCM often updates the Mobile App. Sometimes as much as twice a week. Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed. Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating. If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
