We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.
New Features
Provider Management
Provider Disconnection
- We have introduced an enhancement in the Manage Provider module to allow staff to disconnect a Provider from a facility. This enables a quick ability to remove a Provider from multiple Individuals when that Provider retires or is no longer used by the organization.
- Rest assured that any existing data with the name of the Provider will be maintained.
- This enhancement is located in Admin Tools, Manage Provider but using the Disassociation and Delete options.
Alerts
Employment Alert
- Through this alert, customers can now track & be notified regarding how many days an Individual has maintained their employment. This alert works for all active employments of an Individual.
- This new feature is found in Alert Manager, Individual Employment, Employment benchmark achieved. Customers can add a total of 5 benchmark in each alert.
- Using the Individual's employment Start Date, the system will alert the required parties on the dates selected.
Attendance
Configurable Funding Sources
- In this release, iCM enables customers to fully manage their Funding Source list. This enhancement is available in iCM-Settings, Funding Stream Settings.
- With this enhancement, users with the appropriate permission (No Access, Add, Edit, Delete — defaulting to No Access) can access, edit, and delete Funding Source terms. As this is a new feature the permission is defaulted to No Access. System Administrators should adjust accordingly.
- Edited terms will update both past and future data, while deleted terms will remain in historical records but will not be available for new entries.
- Additionally, Funding Source terms will appear correctly in all reports.
Enhancements
My Work
- In this release, we have introduced a new setting for the My Work section that allows customers to set an company default to the "Assigned To" area in My Work.
- This configuration can be found in iCM-Settings, My Work. In this location configuration can be made to set a default "Timeframe" and now, the "Assigned To" field, that appear in all employee's My Work area when they open the feature.
CareTracker
Expandable Notes Text Box in Care Tracker
- In this release, we have introduced a resizable Notes box in Care Tracker. Users can now easily adjust the size of the Notes box by using a drag handle located at the bottom-right corner, similar to the functionality found in the Services Protocol section.
Assessments
- In this release, we have added the ability to unselect radio buttons throughout Assessments. Customers can now click a selected radio button again to clear their choice. This update enhances user experience by allowing corrections for accidental selections, ensuring more accurate data entry.
Services
- In this release, we have introduced heightened security to the Group Activity Management module to ensure staff members can only view and manage programs and individuals assigned to them. The system now restricts program selection, Individual listings, and group activity management based on staff assignments. This update improves data security and access control by limiting visibility to authorized users only.
Maintenance
Maintenance History Log
- The Maintenance Request history log now has a cleaner & spacious UI, to assist with readability of the historical data of each maintenance request.
Staff Management
TB & Background Checks
- In this release, we have separated the combined TB & Background Checks section into two distinct sections and reports.
- TB Records
- To enhance data management and improve the tracking of critical dates such as X-ray expirations, the TB Records section has been reorganized so that all existing fields are now part of the TB Skin Test category, with the "TB Test Date" field hidden and a new Expiration Date field added for the TB Skin Test.
- Additionally, a new toggle labeled "Blood Test / Chest X-Ray Required?" has been introduced;
- When enabled, it displays additional fields including Date Tested, Expiration Date, and Results (e.g., Clear, Inconclusive, Abnormal).
- The update also includes a change in permissions: the existing TB and Background Check permission is now renamed to Staff Background Checks, and a new permission for Staff TB Records has been created, ensuring that existing users with common permissions continue to have appropriate access. The currently set permission level will be applied to both
- Historical logs for both sections will be maintained to ensure a complete record of changes.
Individual Management
Consent to Photograph
- In this release, we have enhanced the resident control view to display consent information for photography more clearly.
- When an individual's consent is explicitly set to "Yes," a "Consent to Photograph" label appears, and clicking on it reveals a popover displaying the associated consent comment.
- Conversely, when consent is explicitly set to "No"—or if a comment exists for a "No" consent—the control displays a "No Consent to Photograph" label.
- When no choice has been selected, no label is shown.
- The popover has been designed for optimal user-friendliness, ensuring that consent comments are clearly visible and easy to read. This enhancement allows users to quickly identify an Individual's consent status and any comments available.
