How to set up and use SCORM Integration

We are please to share that we have another method for integration with learning management systems.  We have integrated SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) into out platform. This enables users to upload and manage SCORM compliant courses, track learner progress and performance and ensure compatibility with industry standard e-learning content. This new feature enhances the flexibility and efficiency of the training experience. With the SCORM-Based Training System, organizations can integrate various training modules, launch SCORM materials and track staff progress through detailed reports and intuitive interfaces. 

Set Up

  • To set this up you must obtain the SCORM file from your LMS. We do not supply SCORM files. 
  • Go into Training Management and select the course
  • You will see a section for SCORM Material and you click on Add
  • Add the file Name, Select the file and mark the Is Active and Staff must complete boxes and save

How Staff Access the information

  • Go to your staff profile and to the Trainings tab
  • Find the training course you need to take
  • Click the caret next to the Action to expose the dropdown menu and select Material
  • When the screen expands click where you see Launch
  • This will then open the course content for staff to work on
  • They can leave and come back at anytime to finish the course
  • Once completed the system will update the staff status to Trained

Additional information on SCORM Materials

We support SCORM version 1.2 only.

Currently, SCORM 2004 or any other SCORM versions are not supported.

Types of SCORM Content We Support

  • Offline SCORM Packages
  • If a customer creates their own SCORM content in SCORM 1.2 format, they can upload it directly to our system.
  • The entire course must be packaged as a single SCORM ZIP file.
  • Since all content is included in the ZIP file, no external system integration is required.
  • The course will run fully within our platform.
  • Online / Cloud-Hosted SCORM Packages
  • If the SCORM package is created or hosted by a third-party system and the content is delivered via the cloud, then:
  • customer must be integrated with that external system for the content to work properly.
  • Without integration, the content cannot be accessed or tracked.

Summary

  • ✅ Supported: SCORM 1.2
  • ❌ Not Supported: SCORM 2004 or other versions
  • ✅ Offline SCORM 1.2 ZIP files can be uploaded and used without integration
  • 🔗 Cloud-hosted SCORM content requires integration with the source system
