We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.

New Features

Incident Reporting

Capture Medication Name and Dose for All Medication Incident Types

  • The Incident Reporting (IR) Module now supports enhanced medication-related incident tracking by providing the option to capture Medication Name and Dose for any IR types categorized under the "Medication" group, including both stock and custom IR Medication types.
  • This feature is configurable from Admin Tools, Incident Report Settings.  Simply toggle on the "Require Medication Details for Medication-Related IRs" and set the Incident types.
    • Medication Name & Dose entry can be set to Mandatory or optional.
    • Validations for mandatory entries will be made when attempting to Save an Incident Communication.

Services Data

  • A new "Setting/Data" tab has been added to ADL/Supports, Social Needs, Activities, and Other Services in the eChart's Services tab. The new Data tab follows the layout and functionality of the Behavior Support and Goals and Outcome sections, ensuring consistency and seamless navigation across all impacted areas.

Enhancements

PCP Report
  • Enhancement to the Report provides the following:
    • The Next PCP date column now includes an indicator if the next PCP was not Implemented before the Individual's Annual PCP Date.

Individual Assessments

 Unsupervised Time

  • Customers will now find the ability to custom manage the terms to further define the type of oversight that may be required as part of the Individual's Unsupervised Time. This is found in iCM-Settings, Level of Supervision Setting.  Here customers will find the current terms with the ability to add and delete forming a custom list that more adequately meets the needs of each customer in alignment with their practices.
    • Unsupervised Time information appears in these locations:
      • The Facesheet, and can be set as a default listing for the Facesheet in iCM-Settings, Facesheet Settings.
      • The PIP
      • The PCP Training Checklist

eMAR

O2 Warning

  • This release introduces a warning message in the eMAR when users enter Oxygen (O₂) readings outside the configured normal range of 95%-100% or any custom entered range specific to that Individual. This enhancement ensures accurate alerting for abnormal O₂ levels, improving staff knowledge of the need to hold or administer applicable medications.

Streamline Self/Family Medication Administration in eMAR

  • Individual's that are documented with the Medication Administration function of Self or Family in the Individual Assessment area will now find the following:
    • The eMAR will display Self or Family Administered
    • When the MAR is generated:
      • An X will appear on the front of the MAR for any dates/times the Individual's medication was Self or Family Administered.
      •  Self or Family Administered will display on the back page of the MAR in the Errors and Omissions

Water Temperature

  • This release includes an enhancement that prevents saving a reading before the "+" icon is selected.  Failure to select the icon will result in the following: "Please add a reading before saving by clicking +".

Mobile App
  • iCM often updates the Mobile App.  Sometimes as much as twice a week.  Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed.  Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating.  If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
