Release Notes 12/6/2024 - 12/19/2024

We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.

New Features

Nursing Visit/45 Day Alert
  • In this release, the system introduces a feature to alert staff when a Nursing Visits/45 Day assessment is due or overdue. Customers can now configure the number of days before a new completed and finalized assessment is required in iCM-Settings -> Nursing Settings. The section is re-labeled as "Nursing Settings," with a new field under "Nursing Visits/45 Day," where users can specify the number of days (from 1 to 366) for the assessment interval. Once set, the system will use this value, along with other triggers, to send alerts when assessments are due, ensuring staff are notified on time for required actions.
  • The alert, Notify when Nursing Visit is due or overdue, is triggered based on the setting and the date of the last Finalized Nursing Visit document in the Individual’s eChart.  Customers can set the number of days (before or after) for alerts to be triggered. When an assessment is due or overdue, the alert will include the Individual’s name, program, and the assessment date. This helps ensure timely actions for necessary assessments.

Enhancements

Incident Reporting
  • For those customers with the option and using the Step 2 Customized Fields, these fields now display in the Incident Report (IR) Report.  This enhancement enables customers to review, compare, and share all relevant information more effectively.
    • Each Customized Field will have it's own column in the report.
    • These Step 2 Customized Fields will also appear in the Print version of the ICF and when Printing the History Log, Step 2.

Document Management
  • The Document Management system has been upgraded to include a Print button in the Document Preview window, allowing users to print documents directly without downloading them.

Training Management
  • Customers now have the ability to delete "In Progress" attempt from the Quiz Management screen. 
  • This functionality is controlled through Permissions->Quiz Management, Discard In Progress Quiz Attempt.
  • The deleted Quiz information is displayed in the history and system will consider the last attempt of the quiz.


Funding Streams

  • Miles
    • In this release, we’ve enhanced the Attendance and Funding Stream Limits (FSL) functionality for Miles enabling customers to record Miles for billing purposes. This ensures that mileage is accurately captured, managed, and billed as part of the attendance process, addressing customer needs for mileage-based services.
    • In the same process as creating other new Funding Streams, customer will then ensure the Stream is attach to the appropriate locations and to the Individual.  Then ensure the appropriate Funding Stream Limit is available.
  • Multiple Daily Trips and Stipends
    • The system has been upgraded to allow customers to record multiple Trips and Monthly Stipends per day, ensuring accurate documentation and billing. This enhancement supports more flexible tracking and better alignment with funding stream requirements.
    • In the Funding Stream's Attendance Rules, customer can now update any existing Trip or Stipend based Funding Stream's "Maximum Units per 24 hours" field to figures greater than 1.
    • In the same process as creating or modifying current Funding Streams, customer will then ensure the Stream is attach to the appropriate locations and to the Individual.  Then ensure the appropriate Funding Stream Limit is available.
    • For both Trips and Stipends, customers will still continue to have a box to check in the Attendance calendar to ensure that the time and services provided represent the required action to constitute a billable Unit.

Housekeeping: Outcome, Goals & Services
  • The system has been enhanced to improve the usability and functionality of the Outcomes, Goals & Strategies (OGS) section found in the PCP and the BSP modules.  These enhancements include:
    • The Discontinue icon will now handle the previous functions of both the Delete and Discontinue icon.
    • Utilizing the Discontinuation icon will provide a pop over requiring a Reason selection from a standardized dropdown and an optional description field.
    • Discontinued OGSs will continue to be visible by selecting the "Show discontinued as well" toggle and will display the Staff name and date/time stamp of the discontinuation.
    • Newly created OGSs will now have a "New" icon next to them.

Mobile App
  • iCM often updates the Mobile App.  Sometimes as much as twice a week.  Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed.  Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating.  If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
