Release Notes 8/30/2024 - 9/12/2024
We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.
New Features
Announcement: Staff Response Report
- The Announcement module is now complemented with a matching report. Customers using the acknowledge requirement for their announcements will find the Staff's response which will be Rejected, Acknowledged, or Not Viewed. Rejected indicates that the Staff closed the announcement without Acknowledging, Acknowledged indicates they completed the required task to acknowledge the announcement and Not Viewed indicates they have not logged into the web app or they have not viewed the announcement currently available.
- The Role filter will only produce results when the Announcement was published directly to Roles.
- The Staff filter will only produce results when the Announcement was published directly to Staff.
- The Department filter will only produce results when the Announcement was published directly to locations in the hierarchy.
CareTracker Data Entry Requirements
- Located in Admin Tools, CareTracker, customers will find the ability to select the Required Fields tab. In this tab customers may personalize each Service Type's required fields for documentation in CareTracker.
- Customers accessing this tab will find all the Service Types currently listed and the ability to:
- Edit current Type requirements
- Delete Types from the list, thus removing the requirement of data entry from any field
- Add previously deleted Types

User Timeline
- The new User Timeline feature has been added in the Staff Profile->Logs tab, allowing permissioned Roles to track and manage all significant changes to a staff member's profile, including role changes, status updates, employment history and password changes.
- As this is a new feature the permission located in Permissions->Staff Profile->Staff Timeline
- The permission is defaulted to No
- System Admins should review and adjust accordingly
Individual's Preferred Pronouns
- Located in the Individual Profile-> Basic Info, customers can now document an Individual's preferred Pronouns. This information will appear in the Individual Report and soon on the Facesheet.
Individual Specific Diagnoses for the Clinical Contact Note
- Customers with a need to utilize specific billing diagnoses with services provided in the Clinical Contact Note now have this ability based on the following Pre-requisites:
- Must be using the ICD-10 Diagnosis codes.
- Must have the 837p Billing View enabled.
- In the Clinical Contact Notes Settings, must have the availability to add a Diagnosis in the CCN toggled on.
- While in the CCN, must select an 837p Funding Stream
- Must select the override toggle.
- Customers will then find a drop down of all ICD-10 diagnoses that are attached to the Individual. Staff can select one diagnosis and this will override the stock Funding Stream diagnosis for billing purposes.
837i Billing View tile
- Customers including the 837i Billing Platform in their Billing View selection in Admin Tools will notice this tile available on their Dashboard as well as the corresponding file generation landing page . Please be aware that this is one of several updates iCM has made towards actively billing 837i services. Additional features are yet to be deployed but coming soon!
Cost of Care for Billing

Customers that plan to use the 837i Billing Platform will find a toggle option in those Funding Stream's Attendance Rules to include or exclude the Cost of Care information from the 837i file. By default this option is turned off.
837i Billing: Billing Physician
- Customers that will be using the 837i billing platform can now manage a custom list of their Billing Physicians. From Admin Tools, the Manage Billing Physician tab enables customers to build their own custom list that requires the Physician's full name and their NPI number. This list is then available in the Individual's Profile->Admin->Billing Physician tab. Upon generation of the 837i file the system will compare the dates of service and select the appropriate Physician.
PCP Date Permissions
- On the PCP landing page, Meeting Date, Submitted Date, Approved Date and Authorization End Date are now governed by permissions. These new additions are found in Permissions->PCP.
- All are defaulted to No
- System Admins should review and adjust accordingly.
Attendance & Care Tracker Discrepancies Report
- A new report in iCM's Report tab that enable customers to compare the time of Services entered from Caretracker to the start and end time of that Funding Streams service from the Attendance module. Customers can choose several Individuals while generating the report. This report is in Beta and iCM will continue to add enhancements. Currently, please note that CareTracker services that are scheduled As Needed or that use a schedule of Frequency by Range do not appear in the report.

Enhancements
Appointment Comment Indicator
- The comment icon now displays a number next to the icon that represents the number of comments that have been added.
Appointment Report
- The previously titled Comment column has been relabeled to Instructions. The data populating here is pulled from the Instruction information that staff entered when changing the appointment status to Complete.
Training Report
- In Training Management, when printing a Staff's Training Report, customers can now select one or more Individual specific training status of that staff.
- In Training Management, when printing the Individual's Training Log, the header now includes the additional information of Training Title and Print Date.
Mobile App
- iCM often updates the Mobile App. Sometimes as much as twice a week. Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed. Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating. If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please note that is may be a few days until they are published and available.
