Release Notes 6/22/2024 - 7/3/2024
We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhancements with iCM.
New Features
Behavioral Support Plans
- BSP Generation now includes the options to control the inclusion of both the Medical and/or Psychiatric diagnoses as well as the generation and printing format now includes a cleaner format including only those sections selected and subsections in which data was entered.
PCP, Custom Delete Terms
- iCM-Settings->PCP Settings now includes the ability to define custom terms for the reasons a PCP may be deleted. Currently, staff can freely input any reason for deleting a PCP and the enhancements allow the customers to set the exact reasons that will appear in a drop-down menu when staff attempt to delete the PCP. This helps to control the staff's input and potentially pinpoint patterns for deletion that may be reduced by additional training or understanding of how the PCP functions, the current PCP template setup, or current organizational procedures that may benefit from updates.
Training
Policy updates
- Behavior Support Plan and Person Centered Plan Training requirements are now functioning in the same fashion as the Nursing Care Plan. These trainings focus on a Document ID and therefore the need to be trained in a document will not expire. New BSP/PCP Training (Documents) will also be required and customers should review their Training Policies for Behavior Support Plans and Person Centered Plans, reviewing and/or updating the Training Due section to ensure all use cases are covered.
Quiz Management Stats
- The Training Management module now includes detailed quiz statistics. These include:
- Number of Questions in the quiz.
- Number of unique staff who have attempted the quiz.
- Average number of staff who passed the quiz on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd attempt.
- Total number of attempts by staff.
- Average time taken to complete the quiz.
- Total number of passes on the first attempt and the percentage.
- Total number of fails on the first attempt and the percentage.
- Question-based performance.
- Total attempts per question.
- Number of staff who answered correctly on the first attempt.
- Number of staff who answered incorrectly on the first attempt.
-
This new feature provides a comprehensive view of quiz performance, aiding in better analysis and improvement of training programs.
Enhancements
eMAR / Medication
Med Cycle Fill
- When accessing Medication Cycle Management tab from the eMAR, a Non-Verified Orders tab is now displayed with the number of orders requiring review. Clicking on the icon will take staff to that Individual's Medication tab and Non-Verified orders sub-tab.
Accurate indication of Pulled vs. Scanned
- To bring more clarity on the administration log, we are now making a distinction between a medication that was Pulled or Scanned. If the medication is Pulled/Scanned prior to administration the drop-down displaying the monthly calendar of administration will show the fact that it was Pull/Scanned.
Medication Renewal Date
- In the Non-Verified Orders, when verifying an order, customers can enter the new renewal date for the medication. Please review this information with video link for more detailed information.
Announcements
- The Announcement module has received some additional enhancements in the form of permissions for both Style and Category as well as updates to the user experience.
- These permissions are now located in their own Announcement heading.
CareTracker, Services Complex Frequencies
- An update has been made to the Complex Frequency "By Range" option when setting up a Service. This enhancement removes the previous requirement of 1 day off between attempts of service.
Water Temperature
Settings
- iCM-Settings->Water Temperature Settings now enables the determination of a Low and High water temperature reading. As staff record temperatures, recordings less than the Low entry will be labeled as Low. Recordings between the Low and High entry will be labeled as Normal and recordings above the High entry will be displayed as High. This labeling can help staff understand if any follow-up action may be required.
Module
- Staff can now record multiple readings for an event at one time without having to start a new entry.
- A Comments icon is also available which includes the mentions options.
My Work
- Significant updates have been made to the user experience for My Work.
- The Days Selection Filter now includes Today, This Week, This Month, and Filter by Start Date
- Next Button: An icon representing "greater than" (>). Clicking on this will navigate to the next relevant date range (e.g., if "Today" is selected, it will show the next day; if "This Week" is selected, it will show the next week).
- Previous Button: An icon representing "less than" (<). Clicking on this will navigate to the previous relevant date range (e.g., if "Today" is selected, it will show the previous day; if "This Week" is selected, it will show the previous week).
- Filter by Start Date: When selected, a start date field will be displayed, staff may select a date and activate Search to pull in any tasks.
Service Note
- Service Notes now more prominently display the eSignature of the staff that completed the service. eSignatures are a great asset for customers and help not only with Services but also Training and other areas throughout iCM. Staff's eSignatures can be viewed in the Staff Profile if permission allows. A Report indicating which staff have or have not added an eSignature can be found in BIRT's Staff Report.
Staff Profile
- The Logs tabs in the Staff Profile have been enhanced by merging the existing "User Logs" and "Activity Logs" tabs into a single tab named "Logs". This consolidation provides a streamlined view and improved accessibility for managing staff logs. These enhancements aim to simplify logs management while preserving functionality and maintaining stringent access controls for security and compliance purposes.
No BM (Bowel Movement) Instructions
- Customers can now customize the message or instructions that appear in the pop-up when no bowel movements are recorded for the days set in Monitors & Baselines. Located iCM-Settings-> Abnormal BM Readings, customers can now access and modify the default message or instructions, providing greater flexibility and personalized communication within the system.
Mobile App
- iCM often updates the Mobile App. Sometimes as much as twice a week. Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed. Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating. If the above enhancements are for modules that exist on the Mobile App, please wait a few days until they are published and available.
