Release Notes 5/10/2024 - 5/23/2024

We are pleased and excited to announce these New Features and Enhances with iCM.

New Features

Alert Management
  • Overlapping FS attendance entry
    • Customers now have the ability to create an Alert to notify staff when selected Funding Streams overlap in the attendance calendar.  As an example, we have created an Alert to monitor Day Habilitation Large Group (DHLG) and Day Habilitation Small Group (DHSG) overlap for Winston Wolfe.  On 22 May Staff enter 8AM-11AM in DHSG and later the same or another Staff enter 10:45AM-4PM for DHLG.  As these times overlap from 10:45AM to 11AM, the alert will be sent to the selected Role or Staff.

Fleet Management
  • List Sorting
    • Fleet Management's Vehicle, Equipment and Vendor lists now include a quick ascending and descending sort feature.  Customers will find up and down chevrons and the column title will highlight when activated.  The Clear tab will remove any sorting in place.
  • Distance Log Checklist
    • In Fleet Management's Distance Log, when "I have completed my pre trip inspection" is not meeting your needs, you now have the ability to create a custom checklist for your Driver.  Consider Pre-Trip, Post Trip, DOT etc.  Make your own custom list for which your driver will be presented.  All responses also display in the Distance Log exports.
  • Maintenance/Repair
    • Customer that inadvertently marked a Maintenance/Repair order as Completed can now return that status to, In Progress or Assigned.  A permission governing this function is located in Permissions->Fleet Management.  As this is a new feature the permission is defaulted to No.

Enhancements

Incident Reporting
  • Requiring Signature
    • The Incident Report module has been updated to include capturing the Staff Signature at the time staff enter the initial Incident Report.  This setting can be activated in the Incident Report Settings in Admin Tools.  Ensure that the option: "Bypass adding their signature on save" is toggled off.
  • Signing Multiple Individual IRs
    • As iCM enables a Staff to enter one Incident Report to cover multiple Individuals, Staff signing that Incident Report will now find their signature appearing on each Incident Report.  This prevents the need for the Staff to then open each Incident Report and add their Signature.
  • Incident Date/Time Discovered
    • The Incident Report Module has received an update for both the Incident Communication and Initial Report to enabling a better user experience to capture both options of an occurrence date/time and/or a discovered date/time.

Appointments
  • Comments
    • Printing a Medical Appointment Record now displays any Comments that were added when the appointment was initially entered into iCM.
  • Calendar Sync
    • The respective checkbox when adding an Medical Appointment to the Events Calendar is now defaulted On.  This ensures all appointments are synced and are displayed on the Event Calendar. If the checkbox is unchecked, the appointment will not be synced with the Event Calendar for that instance.
  • Completed Appointment Mandatory Comment
    • In this update, we have added a setting to make the comment box mandatory for completed appointments.  Located in iCM-Settings, Appointment Settings, customers can toggle on this requirement.  This action requires a Staff to add Comments when attempting to mark an Appointment Status as Complete.  These Comments appear in the Appointment Record Report found in the Reports module.

Plan of Correction
  • POC: Reverting POC/NOC status
    • In the POC module, Staff can now Rollback a POC Response from Accepted or Rejected and Reopen an NOC from Closed if either of these actions were completed by error.  Both these actions are permission based, defaulted to No and can be found in the POC heading in Permissions.

Progress Note
  • Permission: Progress Note-> Send Request to Doctor
    • In Progress Notes, a new permission has been added to provide security to the Send Request to Doctor option.  Located in Permissions->Individual, the "Send Request to Doctor" can be toggled to No.  As this previously was available without a permission, it is currently defaulted to Yes.  Please review your permissions and set accordingly.

ABC Data Form
  • ABC Settings: Custom Physical Management Techniques link
    • Customers will find a new user experience to help navigate to the Custom Physical Management Techniques.  While the Custom Physical Management Techniques are currently found in the ABC Template tile a link has been included to reach this feature while in iCM-Settings->ABC Data Form.
  • ABC Template: maintain order
    • Customers will also find that the ABC Data Form Template now includes the drag and drop feature for both the Header and Options to help align your customized template with your changing needs.

Mobile App

  • iCM often updates the Mobile App.  Sometimes as much as twice a week.  Best practice would have mobile devices set to auto update so these revisions are automatically installed.  Staff may experience issues when new versions of the Mobile App are released but the device is not updating.
    • Distance Log Signature
      • This feature is now available in the Mobile App for both Fleet Management and "Personal" Distance Log reporting.
