How to set up your Open Future Learning integration?

The Open Future Learning (OFL) integration will allow your staff to sign into OFL through a Single Sign On and complete their trainings in OFL. Every time a course is completed in OFL, the staff will be marked trained for that course in iCM after a couple of minutes.
Start in iCM:
- iCM->Admin Tools> iCM Settings -> External System Integration -> Credentials. Enter OFL admin credentials here.
To link courses between iCM/OFL:
- Go to Training Management
- Click on Training Material for a class
- Add a Training Link
- Check checkbox for Links to an external system
- Choose the system OFL
- Enter training Title
- Training URL and code from OFL
- If material is required to mark staff as trained click “Staff Must Complete this Training”
Please note:
- When a user clicks on an OFL course, if the user does not exist in OFL a new user will be created.
- This integration uses technology called RESTful APIs.
- You will need to reach out to OFL to get the integration up and running on their side. This may come with a cost. There is no additional cost from iCM.
