How to record water temperature readings?

To help ensure the safety of people you support, you may be required to take water temperature readings to make sure the water in a house is not too hot. iCM offers a Water Temperature Readings module where staff can record their readings.

Here's how it works:

  1. From the dashboard, go to Water Temperature Readings in the purple column.
  2. This will pull up a list of all the water temperature readings, which can be filtered at the top.
  3. Click the green Add New Reading in the top righthand corner.
  4. Select the date and time or reading
  5. Select the program/site where you are working.
  6. There is a checkbox to indicate if individuals are able to self regulate their water temperatures. 
  7. Enter in the location where you are taking the reading.
  8. Enter in the temperature reading and click the plus (+) sign.
  9. Now you are able to enter the next reading (if there is more than one)
  10. Create any follow up tasks that are needed as a result of the reading.
  11. Sign the log or pull your signature.
  12. You can print the reading report by clicking Print.
  13. You can filter the screen and Print All readings that are showing.
