How to verify Narcotics or Controlled Medications?

Step 1.  Go to Master eMar tab on the left side of the screen

Step 2.  Click on Medication count sheet on the top right corner

Step 3.  Select Location then Med-cart(as needed) and select Controlled medication

Step 4.  Click search.

Step 5.  Click verify quantity

If there is a discrepancy between the system count and the pills on hand staff should notify a supervisor immediately so the issue is resolved.
