How to turn on the account lockout feature?
iCM has an optional account lockout feature which will lock a user out after 3 failed login attempts. Once activated, any staff member can have their account locked if they enter their password incorrectly 3 times. Once staff begin to attempt to login but fail they will be given a warning each time. Once they have failed to login 3 times they will see a message to contact the system administrator for assistance. This message will flash on the screen and then disappear.
A System-Administrator can turn this feature on.
- Under your name at the top right corner, click Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Once in this setting screen the system admin will need to scroll to Staff Lockout Settings and click/touch the box to activate this feature.
