How can we tell that services have been provided on a certain date before we bill?

It is important to ensure that services are provided before you bill for those services. In an audit, you will want to show that you have provided all the services that you are billing for. That's why iCM has a feature called attendance compliance which gives you a glimpse into the percentage of services that have been marked off in the Care Tracker along with the attendance time that has been marked.

To turn this feature on:

  1. Click Admin Tools on the bottom left navigation bar.
  2. Go to iCM-Settings.
  3. Click on Attendance settings.
  4.  Turn on Compliance setting and configure which percentage you would like flagged in red and yellow.

To use this feature:

  1. In the attendance screen, you will see a additional row appear under each attendance record. These boxes will show you a number, which is the percentage of CareTracker activities completed.
  2. When you click on the percentage number, the service note will load so you can review the details.
  3. In addition, Staff can click on the Tracker tab to see exactly which services and support were and were not provided.  This is a great way to quickly check, document services that you may have missed or notify those that provided the service to make an update.
