Adding Injections and Designating Staff

We have created a new feature for designating which staff are able to sign off on injections. Here's how to get started. If you are adding this medication or editing an existing medication go into the eChart and then the medication tab. Find the medication in the list and click on the view and then edit button.

Step 1: Once in edit mode, click where you see Is this an injection under the dosage.

Step 2: Select the roles that may administer and document the injection. You can further select a specific user.

Step 3: Continue to add all the necessary details. Make sure that you have selected Site Specification so that the staff can mark the injection site. 

Step 4: Make sure you have the correct schedule and click on save.

Step 5: Where this appears on the eMAR, if staff are not allowed to administer they will see this message. Only the role for which it was assigned will have access to administer.
